Single-Family Residential
Single-family residences are standalone homes or multi-unit dwellings with less than three (3) units that receive weekly collection and processing service of materials collected from blue, green, and black carts.
Multi-Family Residential
Multi-family dwellings are housing complexes with three (3) or more residential units that receive collection and processing service of materials collected from carts or bins. Service is provided up to six (6) days per week on a Monday through Saturday schedule.
Commercial
Commercial customers are businesses, offices, schools, churches and more that receive collection and processing service of materials collected from carts or bins. Service is provided up to six (6) days per week on a Monday through Saturday schedule.
Debris Box
GreenWaste of Palo Alto offers debris box services for construction projects, deconstruction, remodels, property clean outs, and more. Debris boxes are available in a variety of sizes for source separated and mixed materials.
Special Events
The City of Palo Alto requires that all special events practice zero waste through waste reduction, reuse, recycling, and composting measures.
