SACRAMENTO, CA – GreenWaste®, Northern California’s premier full-service resource recovery and recycling company, proudly announces its collaboration with Habitat for Humanity Greater Sacramento for the 7th annual “Rock the Block Oak Park” initiative May 3-4, 2024. As the event’s Sustainability Sponsor, GreenWaste will be providing locally-made, recycled-content landscape materials, and processing for recycling event construction and demolition material.

“Rock the Block Oak Park” is an annual community project spearheaded by Habitat for Humanity Greater Sacramento, aiming to revitalize the Oak Park community through critical home repairs and neighborhood enhancements. By teaming up with Habitat for Humanity Greater Sacramento for this endeavor, GreenWaste is supporting their efforts to revitalize the Oak Park neighborhood, foster a stronger sense of community, and improve the quality of life for its residents.
