***Note the dumpster is 21 feet long with the doors closed. There are two doors, each 4 feet long, that swing to the back of the dumpster. To fully open the dumpster, a minimum length of approximately 26 feet is required. The dumpster dimensions are 7.5 feet tall and 8 feet wide. Please note that sizes may vary due to differences in manufacturers.***

Unacceptable Materials in Discount Residential Dumpsters

Additional charges may apply
- No Heavy debris - such as: concrete, asphalt, dirt, stucco, and brick can only go into 10 cubic yard dumpsters due to its weight. Asphalt shingles must go into 10 or 20 cubic yard dumpsters.
- No Clean Dirt Only or Dirt and Sod - such as dirt, sod, large rocks.
- No Concrete - Concrete from building pads, driveways, road construction, etc. May include native stone and asphalt, with minimal flush-cut wire or rebar. No dirt, base rock, brick, roofing tiles, wood, or trash. Concrete over 2’x2’x2’ will be charged as OVERSIZED. No slurry.
- No Stucco - stucco and lath only, no felt or barrier, no other debris. stucco, plaster, pool plaster or gunite
- No Composite Asphalt Roofing - Mixed Commercial and residential asphalt roofing containing lumber, flashing, cardboard, insulation, or trash. Wood shingles, trash and insulation may also appear in the load.

If more than 1 cubic yard of these materials is placed into the GreenWaste discount residential dumpster a hard to handle fee starting at $150.00 plus franchise fee will be imposed, plus you will be responsible for any damages caused to the dumpster.
Unacceptable Materials detailed: Loose Yard Waste more than a cubic yard of grass clippings, leaves, weeds, pine needles (branches and brush are ok), food waste, Hazardous Materials including but not limited to asbestos, oil & chemicals, lacquer, paint thinner, and wood stain, anything liquid-based cannot be placed into our roll off containers. This includes household cleaners, contaminated soils and absorbents, pesticides, HAZMAT materials, anything flammable, wet paint, oil, gasoline, propane, mercury-based materials, or appliances with liquids associated with them (AC units, refrigerators are ok if placed closest to doors of the dumpster, additional charges do apply), oil filters, batteries, etc. These liquids can seep into the ground at the local landfill and contaminate our local water supply. No treated wood waste, fluorescent bulbs, no Lithium-Ion batteries, no batteries of any type, medical infectious waste is defined as any material used in medicine or anything that has met bodily fluids. This includes animal carcasses or body parts, Dialysis waste, hospital blood bags, human blood, or blood-soaked fabrics, unused or expired drugs and prescriptions, used needles and sharps.
Acceptable Materials in Discount Residential Dumpsters
What can go inside your dumpster?
In general, unless it is listed on the Unacceptable Materials list above, or in our Terms and Conditions, it is OK to dispose in a GreenWaste discount residential dumpster. If you are in doubt, please call our office we will be happy to assist you. Here are some of the most common items that we receive:
- Bathroom fixtures
- Cabinetry
- Old furniture, chairs, tables, bed frames, desks
- Carboard, papers, books
- Shelving, wood debris, painted wood
- Fencing materials, wood, chain link, iron, (no pressure treated wood)
- Brush, branches, woody materials, (no bags of leaves or yard clippings)
- Construction debris
- Counter tops
- Drywall
- Flooring
- Lumber and wooden materials
Mixed household dumpsters
Most non-hazardous waste, junk or debris in general is permitted. A general list of allowable items includes boxes, mattresses, dried paint cans, toys, rags, clothing, tables, documents, fire damaged items, water damaged materials, cabinets, sinks, screens, wood lumber, pallets, fencing, plywood, and lumber used for cement forms. Metal affixed to the lumber such as nails or hinges are acceptable., trash, furniture, couches, tables, mattresses, box springs, chairs, dressers, bookcases, barstools, entertainment centers, hutches, China cabinets, and other furniture can be disposed and are accepted in our dumpsters. brush, tree limbs, small trees, bushes, branches, tree rounds, tree chips, brush, some leaves. Tree rounds and trees must be less than 4 ft and have a diameter of no more than 2 ft, anything over 2ft will be charged as oversized. Palm, cattails, bamboo, are okay.
Construction and Demolition Debris (C&D)
We specialize in recycling construction and demolition debris (also known as C&D debris), most non-hazardous construction debris may be placed into our dumpsters including but not limited to siding, and all types of flooring, sheetrock, insulation, wood debris, lumber, fencing (no treated wood), glass windows, rebar, metal, pipes, sinks, counter tops, bathtubs, glass, plastics.
