Garbage collection

Residents must provide their own 20, 35, 65 or 95 gallon garbage cart for service. GreenWaste offers residents rental of wheeled carts for garbage service in various sizes. Rates are available by calling customer service at (650) 568-9900 or by contacting Customer Service Online.

Recycling collection

Residents are provided two 18-gallon bins for recyclables. Recycling includes single stream recycling.

Yard trimmings collection

Residents are asked to provide their own 32-gallon can for yard trimmings collection. Yard trimmings service is unlimited, however all material must be contained in 32-gallon cans for collection. Stickers for yard trimmings cans can be sent to you from GreenWaste, simply call customer service at (650) 568-9900.

Branches must be no more than 6 inches thick and 5 feet long. Branches that do not easily fit into the can, may be bundled separately with cotton twine.

Each can must not exceed more than 50 pounds. Store yard trimmings on you property until the day before collection.

Yard trimmings collection is weekly with the recycling and garbage collection.

Commercial

Garbage collection

Commercial customers can select frontloader bin service. Frontloader bins are available for collection Monday thru Friday for collection. Call customer service at (650) 568-9900 or contact Customer Service Online to arrange for special pick up or to change size of containers.
